Microsoft Accelerates Desktop Virtualization…
 
"…Microsoft Corp. today announced new investments around desktop virtualization technologies and solutions, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), to help organizations of all sizes increase flexibility, employee productivity and IT cost savings. During a webcast at 9 a.m. PDT, the company will detail new technologies, simplified licensing models and an alliance with Citrix Systems Inc., furthering its virtualization strategy from the desktop to the datacenter….

…Employees crave options in where and how they work. And yet, IT still needs to enforce security and compliance of devices. Forefront TMG – We’re on a Route to no where

"…Server Publishing is Failing through TMG/ ISA Server….This is almost always caused by improper routing within the network. Because I have seen a lot of these cases, one of the first places I look on is under the To Tab on the Server Publishing Rule. There is a section  which specifies how ISA Server forwards the requests to the published server. In a lot of cases changing the default setting of “Requests appear to come from the original client” to “Requests appear to come from the ISA Server” resolves the issue..

In this article I will show you why changing this setting from its default is just a workaround that masks a larger problem of incorrect routing on the network…."
